Nachavule movie review
STARRING : Tanish, Madhavilatha, Kasi Vishwanath and others
MUSIC : Sekhar Chandra
DIRECTOR : Allari Ravi Babu
RELEASE DATE : December 18th, 2008
Review: Good
The film Nacchavule stars newcomers in the lead roles. The film is a simple, sensible and cute story about the life of a teenaged boy from birth to his first crush to his first girl friend and how he finds his true love.
Story:
Luva Kumar (Tanish) is the eldest son of middle class parents. He is a teenager and he also has a kid brother. Like all the boys of his age, he is also desperately looking to woo girls. He makes several attempts but fails all the time.
Luva Kumar finally manages to be a friend of a cute little girl Anu (Madhavilatha). Anu lives with his widowed father and she takes good care of him. She works in a coffee shop. Luva Kumar takes Anu’s father to a hospital when he suffers from heart attack and this timely help saves his life.
Anu is indebted to him and so she agrees to his request of acting like his girlfriend for some time. Anu agrees but sets some conditions. These conditions are that Luva Kumar should not make any advances; he should not touch her and also not to try any acts like kissing.
Luva Kumar uses the company of Anu to the hilt and slowly becomes a lover boy. But without realizing Anu slowly falls in love with him. Along the way Luva Kumar slowly turns into a Casanova. He starts neglecting Anu.
Luva Kumar captures Anu kissing him on his mobile. Luva Kumar’s brother steals the phone and sells it to a pawn broker. The MMS clip is soon on every mobile. Anu shuns Luva Kumar.
But the sudden death of Luva Kumar’s mother brings a change in him. The rest of the story is how he gets back his love.
There are several twists and turns and there is also a villain Maddy who tries to foil Luva Kumar’s attempts at every stage.
Performance:
The guy who plays hero has done a neat job. He looks very convincing in his role of a teenager and his relationship with his parents has also been correctly captured.
The heroine is short but cute. She gives a good account of herself as a caring daughter and also as friend and lover.
Ravi Babu appears for a few second in a scene and he draws a huge response from the audience.
The other star cast does full justice to their roles. The story is simple and the screenplay is also quite interesting. The film runs in a light hearted and entertaining manner in the first half.
It is only late into the second half that the film becomes a bit heavy with sentiment and revenge drama.
The music is good and the song ‘Padmavathi…Padmavathi…’ is interesting and appeals to the youngsters immensely.
The film will appeal to the teenagers immensely as it is a true depiction of the life of an average middle class teenager. Director Ravi Babu manages to weave a decent story and there is also a subtle but strong message in the end –children should look at life not from their own perspective but they should also try to look at life from the perspective of their parents.
Ushakiron Movies has the image of making decent films that can be watched by the entire family. Nacchavule lives up to this image.

This reminds me of Ramoji Rao and Uday Kiran earlier moviesThis movie is about Tanish lead character and his relationships.
The first half is energetic with hero revolving around babes searching for his girl.He later decides to focus on one girl rather than maintaining many. This is how he falls in love with a girl and later he broke out.
The first half is the plus point of the film .Its funny engaing and fresh with all new faces. The second half is bit tragedic with the death of Tanish mother, breaking away from his girl friend.
Overall its a youthful movie.
Ravi babu is successful in his own way of presenting the movie .
Nachchavule is another coming-of-age story by director Ravibabu but he has handled in very sensible way. His handling of sentiment scenes and comedy dialogues are good. Cool visuals and cute lead pair are another advantage. On the whole it is good in parts and it is commendable job by Ravi Babu with non-stars. The important thing is that the movie shows Ravi Babu is a fine technician and he knows the real ‘technique’. Probably this is the first time that Ramoji Film City’s facilities are used effectively in Telugu Cinema. Ravibabu had a penchant to bring out love stories in different angle
good moview ,climax must be better than this.
